Thunder Valley Casino Resort has adopted a Responsible Gaming Program that includes providing educational and informational materials for patrons in the Gaming Facility which aim at the prevention of problem gambling and that specify where to find assistance. 

Thunder Valley Casino Resort offers a Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program for guests who feel they may be experiencing a problem with gambling. This program will prohibit access to the property in addition to our promotions, services, and gaming privileges. Any winnings obtained during violation of the self-exclusion are permanently forfeited. Enrollment in the Self-Exclusion Program is available at the Security podium.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort operates with the goal of giving our guests the best experience possible. To ensure this outcome, Thunder Valley enforces a Code of Conduct to make certain that all guests have a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience every visit that is consistent with AAA Four-Diamond Service Standards.

Trespassed/Banned Individuals

  • All jackpots will be forfeited for any banned or self-excluded individuals found on property.

Our Code of Conduct is as follows:

  • All guests in gaming areas must be 21 years of age.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Possession or carrying of any firearms or illegal weapons is prohibited.
  • Loitering is prohibited.
  • The use of photographic and video recording devices by guests is prohibited on the casino floor at all times, without prior expressed consent from Thunder Valley management.​
 
  • DRESS CODE – In consideration of our guests, Thunder Valley enforces a strict dress code. Guests must wear appropriate attire while at Thunder Valley. Clothing that is inappropriately revealing or offensive is not allowed. Guests dressed inappropriately, as determined by Thunder Valley management, will be escorted off property immediately. Thunder Valley reserves all rights.
  • The wearing or displaying of clothing, clothing accessories with gang insignias, monikers or identifications, including a specific combination of colors or symbols commonly associated with gangs, as those terms are defined by the California Department of Justice, is prohibited.
  • Vests, jackets, shirts, hats, jewelry, pants, shoes, socks, shorts or other clothing accessories or items of clothing are strictly prohibited to the extent they contain any logo, insignia, moniker or writing associated with the Hells Angels, the Mongols, the Vagos, the Top Hatters, the Ghost Mountain Riders, the Nortenos, the Surenos or any criminal street gang or identified associate club.

Guests who appear to be under the age of 30 may be asked to provide identification to verify birthdate and age. Guests who are obviously intoxicated will not be served. As always, Thunder Valley is ready and equipped to arrange for taxi service for our guests who are in need of transportation assistance.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort allows Service Animals as defined by Federal ADA Law.  We request that you register your Service Animal with Security.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY FOR EVENTS?

Refund Policy
All tickets purchased at Thunder Valley Casino Resort are fully refundable for 72 hours after purchase, or when you buy tickets from us of equal or higher price, up until one week before the event. If you bought your tickets through Ticketmaster please contact Ticketmaster for a full refund within 72 hours of the purchase date.

Refunding Canceled Events
Please visit the Thunder Valley Ticket Office for a full refund on tickets purchased at Thunder Valley Casino Resort.

For tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, please visit ticketmaster.com, or call 800-653-8000 for more information on receiving a refund.

Rescheduled Events

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT?

Guests must be at least 21 years of age to enter the casino. The following exception applies: Guests who are underage are allowed in any restaurant or the gift shop if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at least 21 years of age (at all times).


DO YOU HAVE GIFT CARDS?

Yes. Gift cards can be purchased in person at the gift shop. Valid at all Thunder Valley Casino Resort restaurants and gift shop. Available in any denomination. Not redeemable for cash and no expiration dates. Please visit the gift shop for complete details.


DO YOU HAVE ACCOMMODATIONS?

CAN I GET A WIN/LOSS STATEMENT?

Win/Loss Statement Request Form (PDF) - Please allow up to two weeks for processing forms received between January 1 and April 15. After April 15, please allow up to four weeks.


CAN I REQUEST A DONATION OR A SPONSORSHIP?

Yes. Donations and sponsorship requests may be submitted through Thunder Valley Casino Resort's Sponsorship Program.


DO YOU HAVE A LOST AND FOUND STATION?

If you may have lost something at Thunder Valley, please visit the Security Office which is located to the right of the Food Court and Main Cashier cage in the casino. Security operates around the clock. All items we receive are stored for up to 30 days. If an item is not picked up by the owner within this time frame, the items are donated to local area charities (such as the Lions Club and Salvation Army). If an item contains an address (like a checkbook or Driver's License), a letter will be mailed alerting the owner to possible missing property. DO YOU ALLOW PETS?

Only Service Animals are allowed on Thunder Valley Property. Thunder Valley Casino Resort abides by Federal ADA Law regarding Service Animals. We request that you register your Service Animal with Security.

WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF THUNDER VALLEY CASINO RESORT?

Thunder Valley Casino opened its doors to the public on June 9, 2003, in the rustic community of Lincoln, California, just 30 miles east of Sacramento. The casino, designed with Las Vegas flair, showcased one of the largest selections of Slots and Table Games in Northern California as well as several upscale restaurants and bars. Since then, Thunder Valley has expanded into a full-fledged resort that includes a 408-room luxury hotel, world-class day spa, tropically themed outdoor pool area plus a host of other amenities and services solidifying it as one of very few AAA Four Diamond rated properties nationwide. Thunder Valley Casino Resort is owned by the United Auburn Indian Community.

 

Sponsorships

Thunder Valley Casino Resort, owned and operated by the United Auburn Indian Community, developed its Sponsorship Program to support primarily local community groups and organizations by sponsoring and participating in fundraising events.

While the Thunder Valley Casino Resort Sponsorship Committee will review all requests that benefit groups and organizations, primary consideration will be given to marketing related local sponsorship opportunities.

Ineligible for sponsorships/donations:

  • Loans
  • Grants
  • Individuals or individual sponsorships
  • Umbrella or pass-through agencies/organizations
  • Political or legislative causes, organizations or individuals
  • Out-of-state organizations/groups/individuals

All requests must be submitted in writing a minimum of 45 days prior to your event date or deadline. We regret that the committee is unable to consider or respond to requests that are not timely submitted.

The Sponsorship Committee meets once per month and responds to all timely requests in writing or via telephone. Due to the volume of requests, we regret that we are unable to confirm receipt of requests; provide verbal status reports; hold meetings with individual groups regarding requests; or provide explanations for denying requests.

Win/Loss

There are four easy ways to request a win/loss statement from Thunder Valley Casino Resort: online, in person, by mail or by fax.

Once received, requests will be processed and a statement will be mailed to you. Due to confidentiality and privacy concerns, we cannot fax the forms back to you. Please allow up to one (1) week to process your request. Processing may take up to two (2) weeks due to the volume of requests. Illegible or incomplete requests may not be processed.
