Q: When will Thunder Valley reopen?
A: We will reopen Monday June 8, at 10:00AM. Current information and updates are continually posted on our website and social media.
 
Q: Are guests and team members required to wear masks?
A: Yes, all guests and team members are required to wear protective masks while on property.
 
Q: How has the closure affected Thunder Rewards Card membership status?
A: All Thunder Rewards cards remain active, and membership tier status is maintained through December 31, 2020. When Thunder Valley reopens, Thunder Rewards members will resume receiving offers and invitations.
 
Q: How has the closure affected existing offers? When will guests receive new offers?
A: When the casino reopens, your offers will be resent to you with new expiration dates.
 
Q: How has the closure affected un-redeemed cash vouchers?
A: For slot machine cash-out vouchers, expiration dates will be extended to six months from current expiration dates. Guests can redeem vouchers at the Cashier Cage, with a valid ID.
 
Q: Was the casino cleaned during the closure?
A: Yes! The property has been thoroughly sanitized and deep cleaned.
 
Q: If a concert is cancelled, can I get a refund?
A: Yes. Tickets will be refunded at the original point of purchase. For tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, visit ticketmaster.com or call 800-653-8000. To receive a refund for tickets purchased at Thunder Valley, visit our ticket office at the Rewards Center when we reopen.
 
Q: Will Thunder Valley issue refunds to guests who made hotel or spa reservations during the closure?
A: Yes. Guests can revise or cancel their reservations at no additional cost.

Thunder Bucks

We take slot play to another level! Every Thunder Rewards member actively playing on the selected slot machine will be eligible to participate in a two-level carded Free Play Progressive. The two Free Play Progressive levels are the Major $400 - $1,199 level and the Grand Prize $2,500 - $7,500 level. Once the Thunder Bucks Progressive has been awarded, the progressive meter automatically resets at the starting amount, and each Thunder Bucks award is loaded directly onto the guest's Thunder Rewards Card as free slot play.

Look for the Thunder Bucks signs highlighting select $1 denomination games linked to the Thunder Bucks jackpot.

Earn 5X Rewards Points

It's 5 times the luck and excitement every Tuesday and Thursday evening between 5PM and 10PM, as you rack up 5X points playing your favorite slots! Thunder Valley Gift Card

A Thunder Valley gift card is the one gift that never disappoints! Thunder Valley gift cards can be enjoyed at High Steaks Steakhouse, The Buffet, Thunder Cafe, Red Lantern, the Gift Shop, Spa at Thunder Valley and more. Simply stop by our Gift Shop or Spa inside the casino to purchase a gift card...or two!

Gift Card FAQ's

Where and how can gift cards be purchased?
Gift cards can be purchased at the Gift Shop and Spa. Gift cards cannot be purchased online and can only be purchased in person at Thunder Valley. Gift cards in the amount of up to $500 may be purchased with cash, credit card or debit card. Comp dollars may not be used to purchase a gift card.

Where can I use my gift card?
Thunder Valley gift cards can be redeemed at the Gift Shop, Spa, and all food and beverage outlets.Gift cards are not redeemable for gaming.

How do I use my gift card?
Your gift card will be swiped at the point of sale terminal, similar to using a debit or credit card.

Can the gift card be used for gratuities and taxes?
Yes. Gift cards purchased with cash, credit card or debit card can be used just like cash, credit or debit to pay for anything on property (except for gaming) and may be redeemed to cover tax and gratuities.

Can I return items purchased with a gift card?
Yes. Return the item to the outlet where it was purchased. The return amount will be reloaded onto your gift card. The return amount cannot be redeemed for cash.

Do gift cards expire?
No. Consistent with California state law, purchased gift cards do not expire. Promotional gift cards will expire based on the specific promotional guideline.

Can I return my gift card or redeem it for cash?
Gift cards are redeemable for just about everything at Thunder Valley except for gaming. Cards may not be redeemed for cash and cannot be returned.

How do I check my gift card balance?
A cashier at participating outlets or a team member at the Rewards Center will be happy to check your balance for you.

What if I lose my gift card?
Treat your gift card the same as cash. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

Are taxes and/or fees added to my gift card purchase?
No tax is added to the purchase of a Thunder Valley Gift Card. However, applicable taxes apply when redeeming the gift card for goods or services at Thunder Valley.

Can I reload my gift card?
Yes! Simply bring your gift card to the Gift Shop or Spa to purchase the new amount and reload the card.
