Guests must be 21 years of age or older to dine at Thunder Cafe. Guests age 20 or younger must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older while dining in the restaurant. Thunder Cafe and the Pastry Counter are open 24/7 for the ultimate all-American diner restaurant experience!

Since joining Thunder Valley in 2009, Assistant Executive Chef Ryan Policarpio's passion for culinary arts and attention to detail have been an asset to the culinary team. A 2006 graduate of Institute of Technology Culinary Arts, Chef Ryan has spent the last 15 years mastering his craft. He now utilizes those skills to continuously wow guests with his creative and diverse menu creations.
Executive Pastry Chef Juan Roa is a wonderful combination of creativity and professionalism. Chef Roa has been involved in the industry for 20 years, working in the Sacramento area with skills he refined from his own practice and his schooling. He has competed in the Culinary Olympics in Germany with the California team, winning a gold medal in 2000 and a Silver medal in 2004. Chef Roa is an exceptional asset by consistently delivering quality tastes and showmanship.
Assistant Pastry Chef Cindy Clark has been with Thunder Valley Resort for nearly 15 years. Chef Clark graduated from the Institute of Technology with honors in Baking and Pastry, sharing her passion with her team. Chef Clark specializes in innovative design, decorating and color in her mouth-watering sweet creations.
A 2011 graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Ronald moved to the area from Grass Valley 8 years ago to pursue his career at Thunder Valley. His specialty is comfort food, and that expertise is seen (and tasted!) in Thunder Cafe's many dishes.
